This could be by putting you in touch with another family with a similar aged child, making sure you've received all the information you need, and making you aware of upcoming events where you can meet others in our diabetic youth community. Newly diagnosed referrals
We know having a child diagnosed with diabetes is an overwhelming time. Provided you've given your consent to the diabetes team at the hospital then we'll be in touch within the first 2-3 weeks to see how we can help. If you're unsure whether you've been referred, then please contact us direct.

Become a member to receive membership privileges
We offer different membership levels and benefits. The annual fee for a financial membership is $30, due each April. The fees help cover our basic operating costs such as insurance, and stationery. We waive your membership fee for the first year when your child is newly diagnosed - you have enough going on! Find out more about our Membership Levels and benefits on our Membership page.
